Mahati Subramaniam is a 10-year-old singer, songwriter, violinist and pianist. She is the daughter of singer-songwriter Bindu Subramaniam, and the granddaughter of Dr. L Subramaniam and Kavita Krishnamurti Subramaniam. Coming from a rich musical legacy, Mahati is forging her own path.  

Mahati is a part of the SaPa choir, and performed as part of various ensembles including The Thayir Sadam Project - a Carnatic fusion collective that has received millions of views on social media. She was also a part of the ensemble that featured in Dr. L Subramaniam’s video, Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, Kavita Krishnamurti Subramaniam’s cover of Zindagi Kaisi Hai Paheli  (a tribute to Manna Dey) and more.   

A student of SaPa, Mahati is scheduled to release her first solo music video - How We Feel. She has composed the tune, written the lyrics, played the violin, sang, and even done a gymnastics routine for the video.
